Biorg is a biotechnology company specializing in in vitro regenerative medicine. We develop immune-competent, personalized organoids to evaluate the safety and efficacy of small molecules, biologics, and consumer products. Positioned as a leader in regenerative medicine, Biorg integrates personalized organoid technology with drug development to address pressing challenges in healthcare and therapeutics.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to our innovative research efforts, focusing on cell isolation process, general cell culture, molecular biology, and biochemical assays to advance our technology and drug screening projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Isolate cells from tissue and maintain primary cell cultures.

Conduct general cell culture tasks, including organoid formation, expansion, and characterization.

Perform molecular biology and biochemical assays, such as ELISA, qPCR, Western blot, flow cytometry, and immunochemistry.

Design, test, and optimize laboratory experiments, techniques, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Process, organize, and analyze experimental data; compile and present findings through graphs, charts, and reports.

Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and advance experimental processes.

Work occasional evenings or weekends as project demands require.

Perform additional duties as needed.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, cell & molecular biology, or a related discipline.

Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant laboratory work experience.

Master’s degree with 1+ year of relevant laboratory work experience.

Ability to independently follow experimental methods and protocols.

Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation and data analysis software.

Prior experience in executing SOPs for assays or experiments is desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Highly self-motivated and collaborative, and able to work collaboratively in team environments.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Cell isolation from tissue and primary cell culture.

Expertise in general cell culture techniques and related tasks.

Proficient in molecular biology techniques, including ELISA, qPCR, Western blot, flow cytometry, etc.

Experience in immunochemistry on cell and tissue samples.

Competence in developing and validating standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Strong organizational skills and ability to summarize data using scientific and statistical software.

Ability to compile and present experiment results visually through detailed charts, graphs, and reports.
